15 Days for Shopee Guarantee Period
Starting 19 March 2024, same date with the implementation of the COM policy, the Shopee Guarantee Period (SGP) will be updated.
What's the update?
Your buyers now enjoy a 15-day Shopee Guarantee Period after their order is delivered. During this time, they can file for a Return & Refund (R&R) for any reason, including issues related to COM, within this 15-day window.
The current SGP is Order Delivered Date + 3 days ( for Non-Mall ), and Order delivered Date + 15 days for Mall sellers.
Changes in Escrow Release:
The SGP will no longer be tied to the Escrow Release. This means that the funds will be released to the seller's wallet on Day 3 after order delivered. However, should there be a need for a return and refund, buyers can still initiate a request within 15 days of the delivery date.
What If a R&R Request is Made Before Day 3?
If a R&R request is made before the funds are released on Day 3, the order amount will remain in escrow until the request is either approved or rejected. If rejected, the funds will be released to the seller immediately.
What Happens If the Money Has Been Released?
If the funds have already been released to the seller and a R&R request is approved afterward, the required amount will be deducted from the seller's wallet. Should the seller's balance be insufficient, it will reflect a negative balance.
