Shopee Average Preparation Time?
Shopee has update to implement APT that will affect your Preferred and Preferred+ status badges. Starting from January 31, 2024, the Average Preparation Time (APT) will be a crucial factor in determining your status. Here's what you need to know:
Preferred Sellers: To maintain your Preferred status, your APT should be on or within 1.2 days.
Preferred+ Sellers: To achieve and retain the Preferred+ badge, your APT should be on or within 1 day.
What is Average Preparation Time (APT)?
APT stands for Average Preparation Time, which is the average duration a seller takes to ship out an order. It is calculated from the moment the order is paid by the buyers for until the order is scanned by the logistics service providers, such as arranging a pickup or drop-off service point.
How to Check Your APT: You can easily view your Average Preparation Time under Fulfilment on the Account Health page through the Shopee App or Seller Centre.
Why Shopee Implemented APT? Shopee aims to enhance the buyer's shopping experience, and maintaining an APT within 1 day is essential to meet the Same Day Handover performance criteria, which is set to release in Q2.
Important Change in Pickup Time: Starting from March 1, 2024, the courier will need to pickup orders that arranged by seller pm 1 pm instead of 11am as previously. This adjustment is made to assist sellers in meeting the APT requirement, ensuring that shipments arranged before 1 pm will still be picked up on the same day.
When Does It Start? The APT calculation started on January 31, 2024, because it considers the last 30 days of your Average Preparation Time. So, ensure that from January 31 to March 1, 2024, your APT is within the timeframe.
What if Couriers Don't Scan On Time? If your parcels are not scanned by the courier on time or if there are any discrepancies, don't worry. Prepare all necessary documents, including order IDs, details, context, and proof of manifest with pictures, and submit them to our customer service team for assistance.
Ermm there are stilll some good news for Preferred+ badge which we no longer have to wait for 8 weeks for PS+ badge. It will now be refreshed every Tuesday. If you meet the requirements, you'll be onboarded on Tuesday.
