Shopee New Return & Refund Policy: Change of Mind
Shopee just announce a significant update to our Return and Refund policy, making it even more convenient and hassle-free for buyers. ( Ermm but more hassle for seller lah )
Change of Mind Returns: From 19 March 2024 onwards buyers will be eligible to file for Return and Refund due to Change of Mind, no questions asked! within 15 days of their order ( as long as within the Shopee Guarantee Period ) This means greater flexibility for buyers.
Return Shipping Fee: Sellers will be required to bear the return shipping fee and forward shipping fee for Change of Mind orders but its claimable back ( with limit and capped ) and required to file the claims monthly. However, they are introducing the Seller Shipping Fee Saver Program, which automates the process without the need for manual claims.
Free Returns Flag: Buyers will see a flag indicating "Free Returns" for products eligible for free returns, making it easier for them to shop confidently.

Return Period: Buyers have 15 days to file for return due to Change of Mind, aligning with the Shopee Guarantee period.
Dispute Resolution: Sellers have the option to raise a dispute within 3 days after receiving the returned item if it does not meet the expected condition.
Return Shipping Fee Reimbursement: Sellers not participating in the Seller Shipping Fee Saver Program will have limits on claiming return shipping fee reimbursement:
Mall Sellers: Up to 1000 orders per month
Preferred Sellers: Up to 750 orders per month
Marketplace Sellers: Up to 500 orders per month
All sellers have a cap limit of RM20 for reimbursement.
